THE SANDY BEACH
A beach full of life and activity. Located in the Geroskipou area of the Paphos district, the 400 metre long, sandy Municipal Beach is a hub of activity from water sports and sporting tournaments, to concerts. Modern beach bars that create a holiday feeling and serve top-class delicacies. A water sports provider offers a wide range of services to prevent boredom. The shallow water of the beach is ideal for learning windsurfing. The beach also offers a beautiful underwater world, which is best explored with a snorkel.
PAPHOS GENERAL HOSPITAL
Paphos General Hospital is the Paphos district's main medical centre. With four stories and 25,000 sqm this pyramid shaped hospital is designed to offer to patients first aid to MRI Scans. When opened in 1992 it was considered one of the best medical centers in the area. The hospital operates all the necessary departments. Within there is also a 200 seat auditorium, and there is a heliport right next to the emergency department.
